Natural Attractions of Floridana Beach
During the summer months, giant sea turtles wade out of the Atlantic Ocean, crawl across the sandy beach to the dunes and dig their nests nightly under a blanket of star-filled skies. Nearby, environmental centers and river tours give you a close-up look at the natural wonders of the area.

Long Point Park 5 miles

Bird Sanctuary, playground, swimming pond, hiking island, and picnic facilities.

Honest John’s Fishing Camp 1 mile

Established in the 1880’s, a reminder of the old Florida. Boat and canoe rentals available.

Sea Turtles on the beach

From April to September the loggerhead, green, and leatherback turtles lay their eggs at night on the beach. The turtles average 300 lbs. and under the light of the moon they can be observed at their task.

Sebastian Inlet Park 7 miles

Tidal pool, beach, bait shop, restaurant, showers, and picnic facilities.

Environmental Center 14 miles

Viewing rooms of native plant, animal, insect and aquatic life. Also, a nature trail and canoe expeditions.

Archie Carr Wildlife Preserve 6 miles
